Are dogs or cats somehow more worthy of moral consideration than pigs or chickens? Do they possess some intrinsic quality that entitles them to favoured treatment? Dogs and cats are, arguably, more aesthetically appealing than pigs. But so what? The singer Madonna is more pleasing to look at than the Pope, but this hardly entitles her of moral superiority. Usem e abusem das imagens, das receitas, chamem-lhes vossas porque não me considero dona de nada. Gostava apenas de contribuir para uma sociedade mais justa, menos violenta, que não explorasse os que são diferentes.
